Student Ambassador Program
Dragonfly supports and partners with schools and groups to create an in-school/on-site, student-powered leadership program. We seek to help students understand the influence, connections, and talents they have, and how they can use them to help Dragonfly and the patients and families we serve.
CAMP DRAGONFLY
Camp Dragonfly is an annual week-long summer camp offered to incoming 5th and 6th grade students in Greater Cincinnati. The camp empowers and encourages kids to support Dragonfly patients, siblings, and offspring, and to use their time, talent, resources and connections to make a difference at home, at school, and in the community. HERE ARE SOME ADDITIONAL WAYS STUDENTS CAN GET INVOLVED AND SUPPORT OUR MISSION
There are many ways students and their parents can help us! Here are just some of them:
- Tell people about us
- Encourage people to donate unused tickets and suites (suites are especially important for immune-compromised patients)
- Promote our events (share our events online, distribute/post our materials, etc.)
- Host a toy, gift, gift card or coin drive
- Collect used sports equipment from neighbors. Turn in what they collect to a reseller and donate the money back to Dragonfly
