“It is amazing what The Dragonfly Foundation has accomplished in the few years they have been around. As a parent who had a child battling this awful disease before The Dragonfly Foundation began, I remember the feelings of loneliness, isolation and despair that our daughter went through as well as our family during her inpatient stays. Which were sometimes 3 weeks out of a month for many months. Even when she was outpatient, her outings consisted of going for bloodwork and tests because she was vulnerable with her compromised immune system. The day she received her Dragonfly bag is also something I will never forget as well. For the first time in many months, we saw a bright smile on her face while receiving chemo.
