A Day of Fun For Dragonfly Families
The Dragonfly Foundation is so grateful for the continued support we have received from Findlay Market and the Opening Day Parade Committee. Thanks to their generosity, and the support of our community, we have been able to have Dragonfly families ride in the parade again this year.
The 100th Findlay Market Opening Day Parade was AMAZING! Not just because of the weather or the energy from the crowd, but because of how the Cincinnati community came together to support the Reds, the parade participants, but our Dragonfly Families as well.
Thanks to the help of Oggo, our families were saved walking two miles from their parking garage to get to the starting point of the parade.
When they arrived at the parade start, they climbed about Stonelick Fire Department’s Dragonfly Fire Truck and the Dragonfly Train created by our friend, Todd Stine. Members of the crowd waved and cheered at and high five’d families as they rode past!
To make the event even more special, “Fluke Skywalker” also joined Dragonfly to make sure the Force was with us!
With the wonderful support of all involved, and the sponsors of the parade, our Dragonfly Families had an incredible opportunity to enjoy a Cincinnati tradition and feel lots of love from the community.
