“HELPING KIDS WITH CANCER”
Three years ago, Connor Kranson decided he wanted to do something to help children battling cancer. So, the boy with a big dream and an even bigger heart held a fun run/walk in his Ashmont Neighborhood. Today, the Mason Intermediate fifth grader has repeated that run three more times. This year’s Run ‘Round the Neighborhood took place Sept. 20 and raised more than $5,500 for The Dragonfly Foundation. “It’s great that so many people want to help. This is something I want to keep doing, and it was nice to have friends from school participate, too,” Kranson said. In total Kranson has raised more than $13,000 for The Dragonfly Foundation.
