“LJ’s Story”

LJ is a strong little boy with the biggest and most caring heart! He adores his big sister, things with wheels, squishy toys, and throwing rocks! He was diagnosed with DIPG on February 13th, 2018 in Anchorage, AK and began 30 rounds of radiation on April 12th, 2018 in Cincinnati, OH. He is currently on a clinical trial where he takes oral chemo daily. Dragonfly means so much to our family. We made so many amazing memories. Mom’s favorite memory was receiving the welcome bag. It had everything we needed as a displaced cancer family. It was the first realization that someone, somewhere, understood what we were going through. LJ’s favorite memory was a limo ride to a private Bengals practice and lunch at Red Robin with “white milk and French fries.” Although getting his huge Hulk-sized hand at a Red’s game with Daddy and Dragonfly is probably a close second!
