We have many young Dragonfly patients in the hospital right now whose parents can’t visit them because they can’t afford the gas back and forth from the hospital to work/home. I can’t imagine what it’s like to know that your child has to be an inpatient without you, or worse to be a child or teen without anyone at your bedside, or as a parent have to choose between feeding your family and taking your child to chemo.
We need gas cards. And lots of them.
