Tonight, Matson Money donated $100,000 to The Dragonfly Foundation!!!! Incredible. Awesome. Just like their symposium!! So grateful for what this can do for us!!!
One of our Dragonfly families donated blood today… Their ENTIRE family!!!!! Bleed for a Cause is a program by Hoxworth Blood Center Program designed to encourage nonprofits to recruit blood donors during the month of July. Almost all of our Dragonflies require blood transfusions at some point during treatment. Please donate blood. Today and tomorrow.
From one of our long-time volunteers, Anne Petersen: “We recently got back from a family trip to Nashville. On the way we stopped at Mammoth Cave in KY and did a long and strenuous lantern lit cave tour. About half way through our guide had us turn off the lanterns to get an idea of […]
From a Dragonfly Mom: “I was talking about Dragonfly today and someone told me how lucky we were to be part of Dragonfly and how they wish they could join. I had to explain that in order to be a Dragonfly, your kid had to have cancer so it would be lucky to NOT be […]
A note from a Dragonfly volunteer who greeted Kings Island visitors for us on Saturday (still have openings in August!): “I had a wonderful time volunteering today for KI Kicks Cancer! The staff was very welcoming and helpful with getting us set up, and guiding us on what to do. I was able to make […]

Oh, the life of a Dragonfly mom: “My daughter starts kindergarten and they now know about mychart at her school. I gave them stacks of paper! Funny how schools give one tiny line for hospitalizations. Seriously, here’s 4 pages of admissions.”
From a Dragonfly Mom: “On vacation in Illinois we went to Japanese garden and walking through the garden looking at the small waterfall guess what lands in front of us on a beautiful tree branch. A small beautiful dark purple dragonfly. Of course I thought if all of you. Thank you for looking out for […]
