VIDEO: Marty Brennaman Honored With Forty Four Award

On February 10, 2018, The Dragonfly Foundation presented Marty Brennaman with the organization’s Forty Four Award during the organization’s 7th Annual Grand Gala at the Renaissance Hotel.

Marty Brennaman, Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Broadcasting Legend, was introduced by Reds VP, Karen Forgus, who recounted the night in 2012 when Marty shaved his head at Great American Ball Park. That evening, he helped raise awareness for Dragonfly by exposing the Dragonfly shirt he was wearing under his Reds jersey. (See this video: https://youtu.be/SGaYzF1QOrk)

From that day forward, Marty has shown unwavering support, commitment, and passion for Dragonfly. He has also played a major role in the growth of The Dragonfly Foundation. Three of the 4 “Marty Girls” who were on the field with him that night in 2012 participated in this video and were also on stage with him during the award presentation. We wish all 4 of them could have been there. However, Madison was with us in spirit.
