Friends Haverford Habitat Club

This fall Team Habitat was created as an afterschool service learning experience for Friends School Haverford students in partnership with the Lower Merion Conservancy.  This team of adventuresome students, teachers, and parents traveled to Ashbridge Park, Remington Road Retention Basin, West Mill Creek Park, and Flat Rock Park to do stream clean-ups.  Team habitat members waded through water and climbed streambanks, cleaning trash from the stream and carrying it to trash pick-up sites.  The Conservancy would like to applaud the efforts of this wonderful group and we look forward to many more adventures with team habitat!
