“I know it sounds crazy and most will not understand but this never leaves no matter how long the cancer is gone. September is especially hard for me. Not only is it childhood cancer awareness month but tomorrow is the anniversary of Lilli’s diagnosis and the 30th is her cancer free anniversary and the anniversary of the day she had brain surgery. I am so thankful that she is okay with the exception of a few after effects. Another reason I am so grateful for The Dragonfly Foundation. How I feel even this far out always made me feel like I was crazy. Then I found out that I was NOT alone. Thank you so much Ria Davidson and Christine Neitzke.
